We process and store your personal data as long as it is necessary for the fulfilment of our contractual and legal obligations.

Collection of general information when visiting our website

Type and purpose of processing:

When you access our website, i.e. if you do not register or otherwise provide information, general information is automatically collected. This information (server log files) contain for example the type of web browser, the used operating system, the domain name of your internet service provider, your IP address and the like.

This information is processed in particular for the following purposes:

  • ensuring a trouble-free connection to the website
  • ensuring smooth use of our website
  • evaluation of system security and stability and
  • other administrative purposes.

We do not use your data to draw conclusions about you as a private individual. We may statistically evaluate this type of information to optimize our website and the technology behind it.

Legal basis:

Processing takes place in accordance with Art. 6 Clause 1 Subclause f FDPA based on our legitimate interest in improving the stability and functionality of our website.

Receiver:

The recipients of the data may be technical service providers who work as contractors for the operation and maintenance of our website.

Storage period:

The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose of its collection. This is generally the case for the data used to provide the website when the respective session has ended.

Provision provided or required:

The provision of the aforementioned personal data is neither required by law nor by contract.  Without the IP address, however, the service and functionality of our website is not guaranteed. In addition, individual services may not be available or restricted. For this reason, the right of objection shall be excluded.

Contact form

Type and purpose of processing:

The data you have entered will be stored for the purpose of personalized communication with you. To do this, you will be required to provide a valid email address and your name. The e-mail address is used to assign the request and then answer it. The provision of further data is optional.

Legal basis:

The data entered in the contact form is processed on the basis of a legitimate interest (Art. 6 Clause 1 Subclause f FDPA).

By providing the contact form, we would like to make it easy for you to contact us. The information you provide will be stored for the purpose of processing the request and for possible follow-up questions.

If you contact us to request an offer, the data entered in the contact form will be processed to carry out pre-contractual measures (Art. 6 Clause 1 Subclause b FDPA).

Receiver:

Order processors may be the recipients of the data.

Storage period:

Data will be deleted no later than 6 months after processing the request.

If there is a contractual relationship, we are subject to the statutory retention periods in accordance with the German Commercial Code and delete your data after these deadlines.

Provision provided or required:

The provision of your personal data is voluntary. However, we can only process your request if you provide us with your name, e-mail address and the reason for the request.

Use of script libraries (Google Web Fonts)

Type and purpose of processing:

To present our content correctly and graphically appealing across browsers, we use "Google Web Fonts" from Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, hereinafter "Google") for the presentation of fonts on this website.

Calling script libraries or font libraries automatically triggers a connection to the operator of the library. It is theoretically possible - but currently unclear whether and if so for what purposes - that the operator collects Google data in this case.

Storage period:

We do not collect personal data by integrating Google web fonts. You can find more information about Google Web Fonts at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google’s privacy policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.

Third country transfer:

Google processes your data in the US and has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework .

Provision provided or required:

The provision of the aforementioned personal data is neither required by law nor by contract.  However, the correct presentation of the content using standard fonts may not be possible.

The JavaScript programming language is regularly used to display the content. You can object to data processing by deactivating the execution of JavaScript in your browser or installing a JavaScript blocker.  Please note that this may result in functional restrictions on the website.

Using Google Maps

Type and purpose of processing

We use Google Maps on this website.  Google Maps is operated by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (hereinafter "Google"). This enables us to show you interactive maps directly on the website and enables you to use the map function conveniently.

You can find more information about data processing by Google in the Google data protection information.

There you can also change your personal data protection settings in the data protection center.

You can find here detailed instructions on how to manage your own data in connection with Google products.

Legal basis:

Legal basis for the integration of Google Maps and the associated data transfer to Google is your consent (Art. 6 Clause 1 Subclause a FDPA).

Receiver:

When you visit the website, Google receives information that you have accessed the corresponding subpage of our website. This takes place regardless of whether Google provides a user account that you are logged in or whether there is no user account.

If you are logged into Google, your data will be assigned directly to your account. If you do not want your Google profile to be assigned, you must log out of Google before activating the button. Google stores your data as a user profile and uses it for the purposes of advertising, market research and / or designing its website to meet your needs. Such an evaluation takes place in particular (even for users who are not logged in) to provide customized advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website.  You have a right to object to the creation of these user profiles, although you must contact Google to exercise them.

Storage period:

We do not collect personal data by integrating Google Maps.

Third country transfer:

Google processes your data in the US and has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.

Revocation of consent:

If you do not want Google to collect, process or use data about you via our website, you can deactivate JavaScript in your browser settings.  In this case, you cannot use our website or only use it to a limited extent.

Provision provided or required:

The provision of your personal data is voluntary, solely on the basis of your consent.  If you prevent access, this may result in functional restrictions on the website.

SSL-codification:

In order to protect the security of your data during transmission, we use state-of-the-art encryption methods (e.g. SSL) via HTTPS.

Changes to our privacy policy:

We reserve the right to adjust this privacy policy from time to time to ensure that it complies with current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services in the privacy policy, for example, when introducing new services.  Your recurrent visit will then be subject to the new privacy policy.
